On June 3, FischerSIPS, LLC was on the Habitat for Humanity site located at 4018 Greenwood Avenue in Louisville, KY. The donation of the structural insulated panels for the house's walls was provided by the FischerSIPS to help improve living conditions and energy costs for Habitat for Humanity customers. Foam for the panels was donated by Creative Packaging of Louisville, KY.

Setup of SIPS was started at 9:00 a.m. and was finished by 2:00 p.m. after an hour lunch break. Habitat volunteers as well as members of the FischerSIPS shop crew were on site to help with the installation, which was lead by Damian Pataluna, Division Mgr. of FischerSIPS, Inc.

The dedication ceremony for the Habitat for Humanity house was September 13, 2003. A representative from FischerSIPS, Inc. attended the house dedication ceremony. The house was donated to Janet Keeylen and her family, who are extremely pleased and excited to be living in the first Habitat Home in the area, built using SIPS.
